I want to try Isolator++ (for a C project) on Windows and eventually Linux.

The windows installer is asking for Administrator privileges, which I do not have as the IT department has strict policy.

Surely I should be able to install it to my local user account?  It's just a C header files and library, right?

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Brendan.

Hi Brendan,

There is a way to do this. First, the admin has to install Isolator++ on their user.
Next, in your local user, you should be able to access the TypemockConfiguration.exe file in the installation directory, typically under: C:\Program Files (x86)\Typemock\Isolator++.
Open the configuration file and go to the license tab. Insert the registered email and license key and press Set License. Try running tests now to see if this works.

Hope this helps.
