First time we see this and it doesn't reproduce.

Can you try version 8.1 and let us know if it still happens?

Hi Alex,

In 8.1.1.9 I'm still seeing the first-letter-related rendering issue, as well as a rendering issue involving yellow search highlight boxes:

Thanks for the repro.

This is a confirmed bug, it happens when the tests are not in a namespace (Why are the tests in the root namespace??)

A fix should be available in the next release.

Thanks Bar. I place tests in the root namespace to save on horizontal screen space.
