Dr. Dobb’s published its annual Developer Salary Survey for 2013.
Survey shows that after being stagnant for 2 years, salaries are on the rise again, mainly due to the recovering economy.
Testers and software developers compensation showed an accelerated rise, in comparison to the previous 2 years, whereas software engineers enjoyed a steady increase in salary for the past 4 years, which stayed stable during 2013.
Base salary, flexible work hours and company stability topped the “what’s matters most about your job” list.
